To ensure a smoother delivery experience, starting June 2, 2025, UPS will apply a new International Cash On Delivery Fee (ICOD Fee) to certain U.S.-bound shipments.

Please see the details below:

• Fee Name: International Cash On Delivery Fee (ICOD Fee)
• Effective Date: June 2, 2025
• Fee Amount: $12 USD
• When It Applies: If the recipient in the United States does not complete the electronic prepayment of duties and taxes, the fee will be charged at the time of delivery.

[How to Avoid the ICOD Fee]

The recipient can avoid this fee by completing the electronic payment of duties and taxes in advance using the UPS International Prepaid Application (IPPA).

*Accepted payment methods: Apple Pay, Google Pay, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover)

Alternatively, the recipient can make a payment in advance via the payment link on the UPS tracking page (ups.com).

[Cautions]

To allow UPS to contact the recipient for prepayment, a valid and reachable phone number and email address must be provided in the recipient information during the shipping request.
